ST. PATRICK HOSPITAL – EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

(May 2008-Dec 2009)

This project was a remodel and expansion of the existing Emergency Department. When completed, the project doubled the size of the Emergency Department built in the mid-80’s. This project required extensive coordination as the Level II Trauma Center remained completely operational throughout the construction process. Each phase of the project was carefully planned and coordinated with the Owner, the Construction team, and the Design Team. With each phase of construction, new challenges were presented to maintain the existing Emergency Department services. Additional power was fed through and from the existing facility. This project included an extensive upgrade of many special systems including the Nurse Call system, the Fire Alarm system, and the Clock system.
